Exists to glorify God by assisting families
in setting a lifelong
course of discipleship
for children.
God gives families the primary role of teaching children to know
Him. Bethel Children’s Ministries is here to help in four major
areas which could be pictured like a baseball diamond.
First Base – Seeing God
We long for children to know Jesus and experience God’s love on
an individual basis. Our goal at First Base is to encourage children
to begin a personal relationship with Jesus as they receive
forgiveness and become a part of God’s family.
Second Base – Learning and Growing
At Second Base, we want children to learn how to follow Jesus as
the leader of their life. We are dedicated to the systematic
teaching of the Bible with emphasis on its relevance and application
to the child’s everyday life.
Third Base – Serving, Caring, Sharing
At Third Base, children are encouraged to discover the ways God
has uniquely gifted them and to use those gifts for the benefit of
others. It is their opportunity to begin to practice serving and
caring for people, and sharing the good news of God’s forgiveness
with others.
Home Plate – Praising
A child’s relationship with God deepens through experiencing
worship both privately and with God’s extended family, the church.
At Home Plate, we want children to learn how to express their love
for God through growing in prayer and committing themselves to God.
We want children to see giving, service, and the arts as
opportunities to outwardly express the love they have for God in
their hearts.
