Bruce & Julie Adamson
Baptist
General Conference--Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
Children: Elianna, Taylor, Samuel
The Adamsons were recently on home assignment,
so many of our Bethel kids were able to meet their family in
Sunday School and in Cross Training. They returned to Côte
d’ Ivoire in early August.
Recommended reading: If Bruce could choose one book on missions to recommend
it would be Let the Nations Be Glad by John Piper.

Larry & Mary Caldwell

Baptist General Conference--Manila, Philippines
Children: Peter, Emily, Jesse and Katie
The Caldwells are in the Philippines under the Baptist General Conference.
Larry is a professor at the Asian Theological Seminary, training Filipinos
and other young Asians to reach unreached people groups in Asia. The Caldwell’s
are very involved with Faith Academy, the largest school for missionary children
in the world. Mary is the English Language Coordinator there.

Dwight & Sandi Ekholm
BEE International (Biblical Education by Extension)--Athens,
Greece
The Ekholms have been involved with ministry in Europe for nearly 30 years.
In recent years they moved to Athens, Greece. God has given them openings to
reach out in Jesus’ name to Ambassadors from around the world, refugees,
prisoners and even an international group of women. Bethel sent a five-member
short-term missions team to work with the Ekholm’s in June 2003.

Philemon & Linda Yong
Working in Cameroon
Philemon serves as the dean and resident professor
at a seminary in Cameroon. Linda leads and teaches seminars in
the fight against aids.

Tom & Kathy Laskowske Working in Asia
Children: Paul, Douglas and Teig
The Laskowskes have been working as Wycliffe Bible Translators with the vision
of seeing all people use the Word of God in their heart language, their native
tongue. Tom grew up in Owatonna and Kathy is also from Minnesota.
