Short-term Ministry
Throughout the years, Bethel has helped support
many people on short-term missions trips. There are many
opportunities to serve on a short-term trip.
Ukraine
This trip will be helping with children ministries called
kids games, as well as English school. There will also be
opportunities for Care Ministries to take place and ongoing
relationship building with our sister church. Age limits
for this trip is 10 and older, anyone 15 and younger must be
accompanied by a parent/guardian.
When: July 15 - 30 / Applications due March 23

Kenya
We will be partnering with Eric Wildgen who
has been serving in Kenya for over 8 years. Kenya straddles the equator
and lies on the east coast of Africa. Eric spends most his time
in two places: (1) Nakuru, which is Kenya's fourth largest town
and (2) Samburu District, which is a region in northern Kenya.
It is very dry and arid there and most of the people living
there are nomadic.
We will most likely be working with Eric in
“the bush”. The rural ministry is
very much a pioneering ministry. There have been several places
that Eric has targeted, but the majority of the work is in
Samburu District and Nkiseu. It’s a district in northern Kenya
where only about 3% of the people are Christians. It is
generally very tough ministry. Our time might be spent connected
with a specific project. Ie. Building a structure, distributing
food, etc. You can also expect to visit locals, share the
gospel, and meet local needs. www.ericinafrica.com

Costa Rica
We will be partnering with Homes of Life Orphanage. This
bible-based orphanage exists as a refuge for neglected, abused,
and abandoned children, and works to provide an environment in
which Jesus Christ can heal the hearts of broken children. Our
team will be ministering in construction projects, helping
direct children's activates, assisting in daily devotions and
worship, and helping with daily chores.
