HOUSE GROUPS

CONNECTING IN COMMUNITY

HOUSE GROUPS

House Groups are where the life of Bethel Church meets the heart of community. These small, home-based groups are designed to help you connect with others, grow in your faith, and support one another through life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re new to Bethel or have been here for years, House Groups are a place for you to belong and grow.

WHY HOUSE GROUPS?

At Bethel, we call our small groups House Groups because they’re like inviting someone into your home for a meal — an invitation to relationship. These groups offer a space for people to connect with God and one another, welcoming both church members and those outside the church to experience Christ-centered community.
No matter your life stage — single, married, young, old, with or without kids — there’s a House Group for you. Groups are designed to be intergenerational and mixed-gender, though dynamics vary.

WHAT'S IT LIKE BEING IN A HOUSE GROUP?

WHY JOIN?

WHAT DO WE DO?

  • Small groups of 10–15 people
  • Meet 2-4 times per month in homes for community, Bible study, and mission
  • Groups also connect outside of meetings: hobbies, hanging out, serving, and more
  • Groups meet consistently through the school year and summer (10-12 months, with breaks)
  • Optional: plant a new group or shift to another if needed
  • Build relationships and feel more connected in a larger church
  • Grow spiritually in a gospel-centered, missional community
  • Community: Care for each other, share life, and pray together
  • Bible: Study Scripture and relevant topics
  • Mission: Serve together with a missional mindset
  • Life Together: Build friendships, have fun, and serve beyond meetings
