Micheal Simmerman

Senior Pastor
Micheal joined the Bethel staff team in 2012 originally as the Student Ministries Pastor, then transitioned into the role of Senior Pastor in January of 2016. His passions are to clearly communicate the Word of God, and to help people stay on our mission of making disciples of those God has placed in our lives. He and his wife Katie have been married for 12 years and have 3 kids who they love spending time with. Micheal also enjoys cheering on Chicago sports teams (as painful as that is), grilling when the weather is warm, and drinking good coffee. 

John Anderson

Associate Pastor of Adult Ministry
John has been at Bethel since 2016 and currently serves as the Pastor of Adult Ministries.   He loves training and equipping members of the Body to know what they believe and encouraging them to live out The Gospel in tangible ways in our community.  John loves spending time with his wife Autumn and their three kids and can usually be found somewhere outside with a good cup of coffee. 

Cody Boerema

Pastor of Student Ministries and Online Engagement
Cody joined the Bethel staff team in January of 2022 overseeing Student ministries and online engagement. He is passionate about helping students own and grow in their faith, and helping students become disciple of Christ who make an impact in their communities. Cody and his wife Michaela were married August 2021. Outside of family time, Cody loves playing soccer, volleyball, and pickleball, anything outdoors, game nights, and a mediocre cup of coffee.

Philip Rhodes

Director of Children's Ministry
Philip joined the Bethel Staff team in 2018. He is passionate about sharing the Word of God with kids, building relationships with kids and their families, and helping them discover a life that is committed to Christ. Philip and his wife Brynn will be celebrating 25 years of marriage, have 3 amazing kids and 2 not so amazing pets. Philip loves playing board games, cooking, cheering on the Vikes and Twins and just doing life with the Body of Christ.

Brandi Voracek

Director of Children's Ministry
Brandi joined the Bethel staff in September 2017. She is passionate about teaching kids about Christ's love and saving grace, helping them hide God’s Word in their hearts, and building trusting relationships with them as they grow. Brandi and her husband, Bryan, were married in 2002. They have been blessed with four amazing children who keep their lives interesting!  In any remaining free time, Brandi also enjoys playing games with family, watching sports and supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes! 

John Dickerman

Director of Mobilization
John joined the Bethel staff team part-time in 2020 as a Director of Mobilization. He is passionate about helping believers start teams of multiplying disciples in their neighborhoods, towns, and communities by training and equipping believers how to share the gospel and establish believers in their faith. He and his wife Kim have been married since 1984 and have three sons, three daughter-in-laws, and two grandkids. John enjoys golf, running, all Minnesota sports (pro and Gophers), family, and time with friends.

Mary Beth Dincau

Office Administrator
Mary Beth joined the Bethel staff team in September 2019.  Her passion is to run Bethel as a whole, efficiently, while sharing her love of people.  She has been blessed with two wonderful children, Lawson and Elizabeth. Mary Beth loves outdoor activities, watching the sunrise/sunset, spending time with family and reading. 

Autumn Anderson

Interim Worship Director
Autumn stepped into our Interim Worship Director role in September 2023. She is passionate about conversations that promote healthy team culture, streamlining processes, and making music together that leads the Body of Christ to make much of Him. She and her husband John love to travel and adventure outside with their three children. 

David Willey

Interim Sound Coordinator
David joined the staff as the Interim Sound Coordinator in 2023 just after getting married to his wife Traci. Together they have six kids and one grandson. His goal is to encourage people to celebrate Jesus through corporate worship. He loves the tech side of projects and enjoys learning new things. David enjoys cooking, listening to music, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, reading and spending time with his family.
